This is great news! I've always wanted to see the producers cut of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers.   It was previously available only as a bootleg, and I didn't want to see it that way.

  1. In reverse order, worst to best:

    10.) Halloween: Resurrection
    9) Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers
    8) Rob Zombie's Halloween II
    7) Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers
6.) Halloween III: Season of the Witch
5.) Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers
    4.) Halloween II
    3.) Rob Zombie’s Halloween
    2.) Halloween H20
    1.) Halloween

The director's cut of The Curse of Michael Myers doesn't improve the movie to any great degree.

    1. I'd rate Halloween III a little higher myself. You have to love Tom Atkins.

  2. It is since H20 made it non-canon. Or did it ?
Part 4 made no sense. He had his EYES shot out in 2, burnt to ashes. I can accept a lot of things in movies, but his eyes grew back???? And they keep him alive for 10 years? and the burns are barely visible. Dr Loomis took a knife to the gut, blew up with pure oxygen, but comes out with a few scars? Bah... it can not just eat a dick, but it can eat a big green donkey dick! Besides that it just wasnt good. H20 for its limited lameness AT LEAST explained why Laurie was "dead."
Part 5 is dull and forgettable. He's killing anyone at this point.
Part 6 is a mess... no matter which cut you watch, it's non-sense. It feels more like an early 70's Hammer movie when everything was Satan-related, except not good.

  3. Zombie? Ugh. Halloween 2 is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. EVER. ILL-conceived, mean and nasty... in all the worst ways. Had nothing new to say, what it did say was mental illness babble. Zombie is like Eli Roth- not nearly as talented as he thinks he is or what his few fans say; one awful choice after another.... the worst sin of all- being forgettable. Not sure why he continues to be allowed to own a camera. Him and Micheal Bay both... hacks.
